This system is based on Endace Dag4.2 OC48c passive measurement cards. The company is a spinoff of the University of Waikato WAND research group Dag project.

• 4U rack mountable chassis

• dual-Pentium-III processor at 1GHz
• 6 SCSI disk drives 18GB, configured as 3 per channel, RAID0 in software
• 1 IDE hard drive, for the operating system (mounted to the top rail)
• 300W power supply (plan ample, this one is borderline)
• configuration by RackSaver San Diego (CPP)

This prototype, kitted with a -48VDC power supply, will be installed at the MAX GigaPOP in Washington D.C. Not shown in the picture is the CDMA time receiver, a Praecis Ct from EndRun Technologies, which will provide a 1PPS signal to the RJ45 connector at the Dag4.2 cards, providing global time accuracy of within 10 microseconds to UTC, and a long-term frequency stability comparable to GPS.
