Columbia University has an ATM OC-3 to NYSERNet. There are two Virtual Paths, one of which does not carry IP traffic and does not pass through the Passive Monitor. There are several Virtual Circuits to various networks (including vBNS, Abilene, NYU, Syracuse, Rochester, Cornell, RPI, Stonybrook, etc.) which are seen by the Monitor.
